Corrugated machine operator operates and maintains machines that produce corrugated board for packaging. They set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot the machines, ensuring they run efficiently and produce high-quality product. Key responsibilities include quality control inspections, machine maintenance, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Machines: Operating and monitoring corrugating machines to produce corrugated board.
- Setting Up Machines: Setting up, calibrating, and adjusting machine settings to meet product specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving operational issues to ensure smooth machine operation.
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on machines and reporting maintenance needs.
- Quality Control: Inspecting and grading finished corrugated sheets for quality control.
- Material Handling: Loading and unloading materials, including paper and cardboard, onto machine feed tracks.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Following Procedures: Adhering to established operating procedures and guidelines.
- Interpreting Instructions: Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Pay Range: $18/hr. – $20/hr.
- Shift: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 3:00pm
