Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and electrical systems on heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal functioning of units.
• Utilize specialized tools and technology for accurate repairs and diagnostics.
• Complete work orders and document repairs performed.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and maintenance staff to ensure shop efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards set by the company.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of diesel engines, transmission systems, and electrical components.
• Ability to perform diagnostics and repairs accurately.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Diesel mechanic certification (ASE or equivalent) is a plus, but not required.
