High Reach Forklift Operator, Manteca, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating High Reach Forklifts: Safely and efficiently operate high reach forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
• Material Handling: Moving, storing, and managing materials within the warehouse or facility.
• Load/Unload: Loading and unloading trucks, trailers, or containers using forklifts.
• Inventory Management: Ensuring accuracy of inventory by verifying quantities, and potentially using scanners or on-board computers.
• Following Safety Guidelines: Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Equipment Maintenance: Reporting any equipment malfunctions or issues.
• Production Standards: Meeting production targets and quality assurance requirements.
• Communication: Communicating with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
• Troubleshooting: Potentially troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
• Work in a Freezer environment

Skills and Qualifications:

• Forklift Certification: Holding a valid high reach forklift certification is typically required.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive motions.
• Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations (adding, subtracting, etc.).
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Pay Rate: $22/hr.
