Key Responsibilities:

- Receiving incoming shipments and verifying against purchase orders or packing lists.
- Checking for damage or discrepancies in shipments.
- Scanning and sorting incoming stock.

- Storing and organizing inventory in a warehouse or storage area.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Rotating inventory to prevent spoilage or obsolescence.

- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing shipments for outgoing delivery.
- Ensuring proper labeling and packaging for safe transit.

- Loading and unloading freight using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Coordinating with transportation providers for timely shipping.
- Tracking shipments and providing updates to customers.

- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Following safety procedures and regulations.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts.

Skills and Qualifications:- Physical Abilities: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners).
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and manage inventory.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to shipping and receiving.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment is often preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
