Event Setup & Breakdown Crew

• $15 to $17 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand and exceed their event expectations.
• Ensure the smooth setup, operation, and breakdown of event equipment, including inflatables, games, and concession machines.
• Resolve any issues that arise on-site, maintaining professionalism and quick problem-solving.
• Assess event success, gather client feedback, and prepare post-event reports.
• Set up and arrange decor, tables, and other event elements according to the wedding plan.
• Ensure all decor and equipment are securely placed and positioned.
• Assist with the breakdown and removal of decor and furniture after the event.
• Handle decor and equipment with care to avoid damage.
• Work efficiently and collaboratively with the team to meet event schedules.
• Assist in the preparation and organization of event spaces according to specifications.
• Set up tables, chairs, stages, and other event-related equipment.
• Ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are available and in good condition.
• Collaborate with event coordinators to follow layout plans.

Requirements:

• Must be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment as part of event setup and breakdown
• Available to work most weekends, with shifts including morning, day, evening, and night.
• Ability to work semi-autonomously and take ownership of event success.
• Previous experience in event setup or similar roles is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule with availability for weekends and evenings.
• Reliable transportation to client site

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with fellow crew members and event staff to achieve efficient results.
• Communicate effectively with team leaders regarding progress and any challenges encountered.
