• Communicating with the pump lead to ensure a solid understanding of the priorities and timing of the day
• Helping run a daily morning meeting to set tasks and priorities with the team
• Assigning tasks to pump team members, including
• Tanker loads and offloads
• Tote batches
• Drum batches
• Tote consolidation
• Tracking when tasks are completed
• Coordinate with key team members to keep track of bulk tanker, drum and tote spaces.
• Pivoting gracefully and commutatively throughout the day as new priorities emerge
• Resolving communication disputes
• Covering for the pump lead on paperwork during planned/unplanned absences
• Performing pump duties during team member absences
• Arranging fairly closing tasks
• Performing end of day cross checks on closing duties
• Participate in and possibly help lead monthly training meetings on safety and SOPs
• Keep track of team member breaks and lunches
• Managing disputes calmly and fairly as may arise from time to time
• Coordinate with warehouse and equipment managers on any needed resources, both for and from the bulk department, including,
• Needed materials - pallets, totes, drums, caps, labels, sample jars, towels/rags, equipment
• Needed offload of spent materials - bad window wash poly drums, bad oil poly drums, bad metal drums, bad totes, pallets
• Improve processes to maintain extreme cleanliness and reduce error rates
• Train new team members on SOPs
• Maintain a positive attitude under stress and regularly encourage, constructive correct and generally improve the morale of the team
• Occasional forklifting
• Regular use of electric pallet jack and drum carts

Work Environment:

• Typical warehouse environment, with expected temperature fluctuations and moving machinery, such as vehicles, forklifts, lifts and ladders
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to make repetitive movements, bending, and/or squatting.
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift

Education and Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED preferred

  • Mold Remediation & Cleaning:
