  • Following safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and reporting any safety hazards
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Previous picking/packing experience preferred
  • Bi-lingual, preferred
  • Location: Salt Lake City, UT
  • Shift: M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Pay Rate: $17/hr.

  • Sorting and Separating Scrap: Identify and separate different types of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal using hand tools and machinery
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist customers with loading and unloading scrap metal
  • Maintain equipment, clean work areas, and remove metal chips and shavings
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing personal safety equipment
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment through tasks like sweeping and cleaning
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in an active environment
  • Attention to Detail: Carefully sorting and separating scrap materials
  • Teamwork: Able to work collaboratively with other employees
  • Safety Conscious: Prioritize safety and follow all safety protocols
  • Adaptability: Willing to learn new tasks and adapt to changing conditions
  • Location: Salt Lake City, UT
  • Day shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
  • Swing Shift: Monday-Friday 2pm-11pm
  • Graveyard: Monday-Friday 10pm-6:30am
  • Pay Range: $19.50/hr. - $21.55/hr.

  • Operating shredding machines: Inserting paper into the shredder, removing bags of shredded material, and potentially operating industrial-sized machines
  • Preparing documents for shredding: Removing binders, staples, and other fasteners from documents
  • Handling confidential materials: Ensuring secure handling and disposal of confidential documents
  • Disposing of shredded material: Properly disposing of shredded material, often in waste bins
  • Maintaining the shredding area: Keeping the shredding area clean and safe
  • Customer service: Interacting with business clients, if applicable, to coordinate pickups or deliveries
  • Safety and security compliance: Adhering to company and government safety and security standards. Other duties as assigned: Potentially including light janitorial tasks or other warehouse support duties.
  • Pay Rate: $19/hr.
  • Shift: M-F 8am - 5pm
