Essential Functions:
· Answers the production phone line.
· Supports inventory management by entering/reviewing monthly inventory cycle counts.
· Purchases & receives raw material such as plugs, rings, gaskets and general supplies including parts, packaging materials, office supplies, etc.
· Processes incoming material packing slips, prints BOLs and raw material receiving tags (“drum tags”).
· Conducts miscellaneous raw material purchasing from local vendors.
· Creates and receives purchase orders. Tracks orders in database to include correct vendor & company name.
· Runs production schedule to include creating, processing and creating and closing work orders.
· Inputs production downtime, scrap, re-work and consumption reports into database(s).
· Tracks various data such as MDI safety, 6S, production numbers, paint consumption, and inventory.
· Providers reports and helps with production auditing (e.g. 6S).
· Processes client services documents such as entering sales order for inter-company shipments & processing of cash sale orders.
· Processes accounts payable documents such as invoices for approval, drum tags entry/record keeping & SharePoint upload.
· Processes outgoing order shipment documents to include processing outgoing packing slips and send appropriate outgoing packing slips to accounting.
· Organizes & files necessary documents and paperwork.
· Performs lock-out tag-out monthly audits accurately.
· Provides professional customer service to vendors via email, fax, phone and in person (including walk-ins).
· Identifies areas for improvement and works with management team to meet customer requirements and expectations.
· Participates in scheduled meetings.
· Reports daily attendance to Human Resources.
· Assists team members with the completion of new hire paperwork and other HR documents. Ensures accuracy before sending to HR. Performs basic new hire orientation with new team member.
· Adjusts and approves timecards in payroll. Delivers employee pay checks.
· Assists quality manager as needed when an on-the-job injury occurs.
· Manages employee referral program.
· Assists Plant manager with work schedules in payroll.
Secondary Functions:
· Assists team members with other tasks as needed.
· Works safely by following all safety rules and regulations.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Works overtime as required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Ability to generate, modify, and organize ideas and/or results in Microsoft (MS) Word, Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with using an MRP system helpful.
· Ability to read, write, type and speak English. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
· Basic understanding of lead tools (standard work, quality, 6S, etc.)
· Ability to meet deadlines, follow step by step instructions, and provide consistent service.
· Ability to communication effectively with customers, suppliers and internal team.
· Ability to work with a wide variety of people on various tasks or issues while maintaining a courteous, helpful, and professional demeanor.

Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Minimum 2 years administrative support experience.
( Desire someone who has experiencing working manufacturing environment and/or is comfortable having a presence on the plant floor.)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-3:30pm

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
